ZINE
Has it been a year already? In this issue we stop and smell the newsprint on our latest format upgrade and reflect on a year of making a weekly zine. Contributing editor Talia Lavin shares how cooking is helping her cope with her day-job of writing a book on the contemporary rise of fascism. And we at last have an honest to goodness crossword puzzle!

BEANS
Three coffees come together to make magic. The stalwart Alambi from Ecuador contributes sweetness and a creamy body. A fresh-off-the-boat selection, the El Eden from smallholder farmers in San Ignacio Peru, brings red fruit vibrancy and big body. And finally an impeccably processed washed coffee from the Hingakawa Women’s Coffee association in Rwanda adds complexity and delicate dried fruit to the finish.
